How to Use SurfAholics TE’s Auto Assign Tool to Plan Your Credit Allocation

Hi Marketer! SurfAholics TE’s built-in Auto Assign tool gives you a place to set a credit-allocation percentage beside each of your listed website URLs. Its practical benefit is consistency: you can make the allocation reflect your campaign priorities instead of treating every destination as equally important.

This guide covers the Auto Assign screen in the member area. It is a SurfAholics TE feature, separate from any recommended external advertising or design service. Percentage allocation does not guarantee visits, signups, or sales.

Find Auto Assign in the Ads menu

Sign in to your SurfAholics TE account, open Ads, and choose Auto Assign. The screen lists website URLs, an editable percentage for each, a summary of the percentage currently auto-assigned, and an Update button. You can also open the Auto Assign member page after signing in.

Read each full URL before changing anything. Similar-looking addresses can lead to different campaigns, and the same destination can appear more than once. Check the landing page itself before giving it a share of your credits.

Give each destination a reason for its share

Start with a small plan outside the settings screen. Name your main campaign, identify any secondary test, and decide what each page should help a visitor do. A current offer with a working next step deserves consideration before a seasonal or unfinished page.

For illustration, a two-page plan might assign 60% to the main campaign and 40% to a secondary campaign. Those numbers are a planning example, not a recommended setting for every account. Check the total shown by the tool and follow any validation messages before saving. There is no need to spread credits across every URL just because it is listed.

Review, update, and confirm

Record your existing values before editing. Enter the percentages that match your plan, check the total and every affected row, then use Update. Read the resulting screen and confirm the values were saved. If a value is rejected or the result is unclear, resolve that message before assuming the allocation changed.

Auto Assign is an allocation control. Do not assume that setting a row to zero removes its URL, pauses every form of advertising, or clears credits already assigned elsewhere. Use the appropriate campaign controls and check their status when you need to stop a promotion. See when to pause a traffic exchange campaign for a maintenance checklist.

Keep allocation separate from results

A larger share of credits is a resource decision, not evidence that a page converts better. Record when you change an allocation, which URLs are involved, and what outcome you are watching. Review actual campaign activity and useful responses before changing the split again.

If you want to compare page variations, keep that test focused. Our built-in tracker and rotator guide explains a separate way to organize a two-page test. Auto Assign decides your planned allocation; it does not by itself establish a fair test or explain why a visitor responded.

Make a short weekly allocation review

Check that each destination is current, its main link works, and its percentage still fits your priorities. Revisit allocations after an offer changes or a campaign ends. A simple review helps prevent yesterday’s plan from quietly directing today’s advertising effort.
